Redmon Schoolhouse, 1920
For years Dr. Freeman searched for a one-room school house in West Tennessee without any luck. Then one day a lady in Crockett Mills, TN called and wanted to know if he wanted a one-room school house. It sat in her back yard and at one time had been used as a dwelling. A house mover picked it up and moved it to Green Frog. The Redmon School, as it was called, was built around 1920 by local volunteers. After extensive renovation it now looks much as it did when in operation.
