Cotton Gin General Store

Every country gin in the South had a general store associated with it. Local sawmills donated lumber for both the store and the gin. The store was built and the front decorated with antique windows and doors. Mr. Eatman, who donated the cotton gin, also donated the contents of his store in Alabama. Steve Rice of Henning Tennessee donated more items from an old store he inherited, and the store gradually filled to resemble a country store of 100 years ago.
